We are the BKS Iyengar Yoga Center of Bellingham, celebrating 40 years of bringing yoga to our community. At Yoga Northwest, we pride ourselves of having some of the most highly skilled and experienced teachers in the whole Northwest, who are passionate about sharing their love of yoga with you.

Changing to the monthly membership after years of only doing one class a week has been a game changer for my yoga and general health. I do one class in studio plus two online classes per week three days in a row. Then I do the three videos again at home before the next studio class.  At age 73, I can now do headstand, handstand, and shoulder stand!  This would have cost a fortune and is such a deal with the monthly membership. Thank you!

Although I have done yoga my whole life, my back has always given me issues (pain and tightness). After starting Iyengar, I have noticed a full transformation! My back can twist and bend without pain AND I have learned how to tell which muscles need stretching to reduce pain. I also want to say that I have felt a change throughout my whole body! I think focusing on correct form in yoga has made a night and day difference in how my body feels everyday!

Although I have done yoga my whole life, my back has always given me issues (pain and tightness). After starting Iyengar, I have noticed a full transformation! My back can twist and bend without pain AND I have learned how to tell which muscles need stretching to reduce pain. I also want to say that I have felt a change throughout my whole body!
