Ingela Abbott is a Senior Iyengar Yoga Instructor and has studied yoga for over 50years and still enjoys learning. She was the founder and director of the Yoga Northwest Studio in Historic Fairhaven for 43 years and loved every moment of it, before Covid!
Last year after closing the studio, and saying goodbye to a fantastic life in Bellingham, Ingela was ready for a new adventure. She returned back to her home country Sweden, to her big family, her son and to the gentle swedish countryside she loves deeply with its beautiful, soft and inviting nature.

Ingela also took Yoga Northwest with her and will continuing to share her love of yoga with her Hiking, Biking or Skiing Adventures to different magical places in Sweden and other places around the world.
This summer she will again guide her popular 13-days hiking trip up north to the Arctic Circle and the Midnight Sun, including kayaking in the Baltic Sea and biking on an island in the Stockholm Archipelago.
Stay tuned for upcoming trips to Japan and Africa, 2025 and 2026.
