Hip Preservation

The hip joint needs to be strong for injury-free movement. Numerous pelvic issues arise from improper use of the hip- Sacroiliac joint dysfunction, hamstring strains and spasms, arthritis, generalized pelvic pain, etc. Injuries of the hip are preventable if we nurture a safe yoga practice that prioritizes stability of our hips. In this informative Workshop we will explore traditional yoga poses and simple exercises that promote Hip Preservation.

Kate LaSpina is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor and a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. Kate is excited to share with you the depth of knowledge from both the discipline of Yoga and Physical Therapy to help you find wholeness and peace in a busy world.

 

PREREQUISITES: Minimum 3 Months of Yoga experience.
